Mark has been a full time clinician since graduating from Boston University and has participated in clinical research over the past 15 years. He received his MDT Diploma credential from the International McKenzie Institute in 1995. Mark presently works in a suburban-based hospital outpatient clinic at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, NJ. He is presently involved with ongoing effectiveness designed research projects using FOTO investigating treatment-based classification systems, Mckenzie methods, and the biopsychosocial model.

Mark is an active reviewer for several peer reviewed journals for his expertise in clinical management and classification of patients with mechanical spinal syndromes and interest in the biopsychosocial model.  He has published many articles in journals like: Journal of Clinical Epidemiology, Physical Therapy, Spine, the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, and Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Mark was a recipient of 1) the APTA Rose Award for Research Excellence in 2000, 2) the International McKenzie Research Award in 2000, 3) the APTA Chattanooga Award for best research paper published in Physical Therapy in 2004, and 4) the NJ APTA James Tucker Excellence in Clinical Practice and Teaching Award in 2005. Mark is a member of the APTA. Mark was elected in 2005 to the Board of Directors for the International Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Research Foundation.
