FOTO® Responds to CMS request -- Offers Analysis on Alternatives to Therapy Cap.
In December 2004, FOTO® was invited to meet with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to review an analysis of claims data for outpatient rehabilitation services conducted by AdvanceMed. At the conclusion of the meeting CMS requested FOTO® submit its comments and offer its views of "next steps" that could be taken as the Agency searches for a payment system alternative to the therapy caps imposed by Congress.
