Day 2 of Outcomes Conference 2015

Written by FOTO Team | Apr 20, 2015 2:17:00 AM

The morning began with a fresh Tex-Mex breakfast.

Daphne Scott led the morning sharing positive psychology with an added twist. The science of positive psychology has benefits more far reaching than at an individual patient level. Benefits can be also be gained at both the individual clinician level and at a company culture level.

Next up we had David Grigsby share the research supporting the clinical pathway of physical therapists first and the science supporting the pathway. Real world practice patterns indicate that physical therapists are hardly ever involved in musculoskeletal care. It is up to us to provide education in our communities and target consumers.

Julie Fritz and Richard Jackson shared research on developing clinical expertise.

We always enjoy this annual conference: meeting and learning from you, dining with you and hearing your experiences in your outcomes journey.
