Foundation Sessions: FOTO Outcomes Conference #OC2018

One of the best ways to really understand best practices of using  FOTO is to attend the 2018 Outcomes Conference. The conference will be held in Denver, Colorado from September 27th - September 29th. This year the focus for the Foundation Sessions are to Educate, Motivate and Collaborate.

The FOTO Foundation Sessions have been designed to help you have a strong foundation from which to build your repository of outcomes data.

The sessions will go over the "building blocks" required to successfully attain full sets of data.

The FOTO Team members will focus on Education, Motivation and Collaboration. Educate will primarily focus on process involved to successfully have full sets of data. This will include creating episodes, managing episodes and all things related to implementation. Motivate will entail the interactions you have with your patients. The more engaged and motivated your patients, the better your outcomes. The tool FOTO provides for this is the patient friendly report. In order to take full advantage of this report requires an accurate interpretation. This report also provides a conversation starter with your patients. The last aspect in the  Foundation Sessions involves collaboration. Once you have full sets of data, you then have the ability to manage your and improve your outcomes. The best way to improve clinical performance includes collaboration. FOTO's report portal simplifies collaboration efforts. The report portal provides real-time, all-the-time data. The FOTO team will help you quickly interpret the information you find in your report portal.

A previous conference attendee had a specific comment about day 1 of the conference:

Gaining a better knowledge about FOTO and how to better implement it in our clinics.

The content of the conference revolves around outcomes: sharing the science,  helping with implementation, understanding data, using the data clinically, increasing patient engagement, marketing and discussing payer contracts focused on value based purchasing.
